Competition Schedule

Here are some of the competitions you can participate in! See Olympiad descriptions on the left and the year’s schedule on the right.

USA Computational Olympiad (USACO)

The main US Olympiad, through which students can qualify for the International Olympiad in Informatics. This Olympiad has four yearly contests and the top students from each contest advance to the finals round.

American Computer Science League (ACSL)

This is a set of online individual competitions, with the following divisions available:

Elementary (3-6 grade) with theory only
Classroom (AP CS) with theory only
Junior (middle school) with theory and coding
Intermediate (middle and high school) with theory and coding
Senior (high school) with theory and coding

HPE Codewars

This is a team competition for ages 13-18 with both a novice and advanced section available. It is conducted both in person and remotely.

Code Quest

This is an online and in person team competition for high school students hosted by Lockheed Martin.

Hacker Cup

This is a competition hosted by Meta and aimed primarily at college students, through high school students can also participate.

Jan 27-30 2024: USACO Second Contest

Feb 5 – Apr 7 2024: ACSL Option 3

Feb 24-27 2024: USACO Third Contest

March 2, 2024: HPE Codewars

March 11 – May 12 2024: ACSL Option 4

Mar 24-27 2024: USACO Open
